Key French Horn

The second key on my french horn will barely move. How can I fix it simply?

The key worked fine until I got home one day and started to play and I noticed it was stuck.

It is one of 2 things, dirt or a dent. If its a dent it will have to go to the shop. I don’t know how well or how often you oil the valve but that is always the first step. Be sure to put oil in the crack on the bottom side between where the string holder and the valve case are. Other than oil you will need to take the valve apart and clean it up with soapy water.
